XAIO Roster
Before the dollar exists.
A dollar earned needs a shift rostered first, at the right award rate, with no one double-booked. XAIO settles both before the shift happens, not after the pay run finds them.

A published week in XAIO Roster, approved hours flow straight into payroll
The award library
Nested the way the award is.
Every classification in an award nests under the award’s own headings, the way the award document itself is structured, not as one long flat list. In the deepest award we sync, the Journalists Published Media Award, that turns 447 flat rows into 40 parents you can actually scan.
- One library, every business on XAIO draws from the same source.
- Confirm the classification against the award text; we link the source so you can check.
- Updated when Fair Work updates the award, not on your own schedule.

Before it happens
The roster refuses a double-booking before it happens.
Two kinds of check run on every shift you try to save. Facts, an overlap or an approved leave day already on the roster, stop the save outright. Policies, like rest between shifts or an award’s minimum engagement, are advisory: XAIO always lets you save anyway, and records that you did.
Overlapping shift
Mia Chen is already rostered 9:00am to 5:00pm on the same Saturday.
Blocked, the shift is not saved
Approved leave
Tom R. has approved annual leave booked over this day.
Blocked, the shift is not saved
Short rest between shifts
Only 9 hours since Priya K.'s last shift ends, the award asks for more.
Warned, saved anyway
Below minimum engagement
This shift is 1.5 hours; the award's minimum casual engagement is 3.
Warned, saved anyway
One sign-in across every module.
XAIO Roster works on its own, but it’s even better connected to the rest of the suite. One login, one ledger, one number.
FAQ
XAIO Roster, answered.
Do my staff need their own app?
Staff use the XAIO Employee app to see published shifts, clock in and out, request leave and download payslips, included, not an add-on.
Does XAIO handle award rates?
XAIO carries Fair Work award reference data and applies your configured pay rules. Always confirm the classification covering each employee against the award text. We link the source so you can check.
